Welcome to A Hint of Ginger!

My name is Emma, and welcome to my little slice of the internet. I am a University student studying Communications in Digital Media at Deakin University, and I am currently located in a rather interesting little town in regional Queensland, Australia. I am now the sole founder and operator of A Hint of Ginger blog, a collection of reviews and musings on film, TV, books, and other pop culture media. You may also find postings on different cultures, and their films, TV, or music, there may even be the rare recipe to go with a Friday Night Movie with a healthy twist!

I’ve always loved movies…and by extension talking about them. So much so that many a friend has mentioned (on more that one occasion) that maybe I should share my thoughts in a blog, and stop boring them to tears already! A quick run down of my favourites (just a hint, you may or may not see some of these on this blog…just saying!) are:

Now, I promise, I’m not going to bore anyone, that’s not my intention. However, if you’re like me, and you love all things to do with pop culture, or if you’re just looking for more of a normal person’s review on films/TV, then look know further.
